can not be used or distributed on the internet.
The Game Price Guide is available in 2 editions:
- Standard Edition: Includes video game prices structured for maximizing profitabilty while expanding your inventory for long term growth. These are the same prices we use in our retail store and online sales. This is the edition we have offered since 1994 and recommend using if selling used video games is your primary business.
- Cheap Edition: Launched in May 2006, the Cheap Edition is for retailers who are (or think they are) competing primarily on price. If you want to have lower prices than GameStop, this is the edition for you.
Note about competing with GameStop & EB Games:
While we understand wanting to have lower prices than the competition, we feel that focusing primarily on price when competing with a 2,000 store chain can be, and often is, a losing proposition. Regardless of which Game Price Guide Edition you choose, or if you are even a Game Price Guide subscriber, we encourage all independent video game retailers to focus on service and selection and a little less on price when competing with GameStop or any big box retailer. Chances are good that you already have friendlier sales people and offer better service than GameStop. Now that GameStop is no longer selling PlayStation games, there are a number of Vintage Platforms you can offer your customers without competing with GameStop, EB Games or any other national retailer. When you open your 10th, 50th or 100th store, you'll have better economies of scale to compete with the big boys, but until then focus on your strengths. Over time, customers will glady pay another buck or two for a game in exchange for better customer service and selection worthy of a video game specialty store.
A subscription to either edition of the Game Price Guide is $99.95 per month or $999.95 per year.

Video Game Stock Balancing
Designed to be used in conjunction with our Game Price Guide service, our upcoming stock balancing program will allow independent video game store owners to turn their slow moving video games into top quality used game titles as well as new release video games. A subscription to our Game Price Guide won't be required to take part in our video game stock balancing program, but when the two are combined, the risk in purchasing hundreds or even thousands of video games from your local customers will be virtually eliminated.
